Hi, I'm Sarah!
I’m the breeder behind Salt Lake Goldens! I was born and raised in Utah, where I now share my life with my amazing husband, our four wonderful kids, and, of course, our Golden Retrievers!
Salt Lake Goldens truly is a family effort, and I wouldn’t be able to do what I love without them. Our kids all play a part in helping raise our puppies, who grow up surrounded by everyday family life, lots of love, and plenty of opportunities to explore and learn about the world.
What started as a love for this incredible breed has grown into something I’m incredibly passionate about. I’m fascinated by genetics, temperament, structure, and everything that goes into producing healthy, well-rounded dogs. I’m always learning, asking questions, and looking for ways to improve my breeding program.
One of my favorite things about Golden Retrievers is their versatility. I love a dog that can excel in the field, try a new sport, and then come home and be the best family companion. That’s the kind of Golden I strive to produce.
I’m a big believer that responsible breeding goes far beyond producing beautiful puppies. It means making thoughtful decisions, prioritizing health and temperament, raising puppies with intention, and being there for the families who love them long after they go home.
I feel incredibly lucky to share this passion with my family and to connect with so many wonderful people who love these dogs just as much as we do.

Preserving the Legacy
Golden Retrievers were originally bred to be capable, intelligent, hardworking companions, and those qualities are just as important today as they were when the breed began.
At Salt Lake Goldens, we’re passionate about preserving everything that makes this breed so special. We believe a Golden Retriever should be more than just a beautiful dog. They should have the temperament, structure, health, and natural ability to thrive in whatever life brings their way.
Our breeding decisions are made with purpose. We carefully consider pedigrees, health testing, temperament, structure, and working ability when planning each pairing. We love seeing our dogs succeed in the field, compete in sports, earn titles, and, most importantly, become incredible family companions.
Our goal isn’t simply to produce puppies. It’s to contribute positively to the future of the Golden Retriever while raising dogs that families will love for a lifetime.

We’re passionate about celebrating the incredible versatility of Golden Retrievers. We actively participate in conformation, field work, and a variety of AKC sports and activities with our dogs. From the show ring to the field and everything in between, we love giving our Goldens opportunities to do what they were bred to do, discover new talents, and simply have fun!
While we’re incredibly proud of their titles and accomplishments, we believe there’s so much more to a great Golden Retriever. Sound temperament, good health, correct structure, and natural ability are all qualities we value when making decisions about our breeding program.

We also offer a master waitlist, giving families the flexibility to join early, follow our upcoming litters, and decide which pairing feels right for them. There’s no need to wait until puppies are born to start the process!
